Privacy

How RestroGrade handles information today. It is not legal advice.

Accounts

Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider. We store your account identifier, email, role and subscription status to control access.

Reviews and photos

A review stores your display name, ratings, text, visit date, any photos you upload and its moderation status. Published reviews and approved photos are public under your display name. Reports you send and moderator notes are kept for moderation. You can edit or delete your own review.

Review invitations

For signed-in diners, we keep minimal per-restaurant visit and dismissal state to show a review invitation on a return visit, at most once across the website and app. This state is removed when you delete your account.

Outside location lookups

If an administrator enables Google or Yelp, our server sends the restaurant name and address to that provider to find its listing and rating. Your personal information is not included in these lookups. Results are limited to rating, rating count, price category and a listing link.

Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy; see also the Google Maps Platform Terms.
